Pathways by goal

Find your chapter of the journey.

I want to come to the U.S.

Most artists arrive on an O-1B (extraordinary ability in the arts) or a P-1B/P-3 visa for groups and culturally unique work. Abachi Law builds the evidentiary record that gets you authorized to work — quickly and on solid ground.

Assess my eligibility

I want to stay & keep working.

Extensions, status changes, employer/agent updates, O-3 dependents, and compliance keep your career uninterrupted. We handle the calendar and the casework so your art stays at the center.

Assess my eligibility

I want to make it permanent.

EB-1 (extraordinary ability) and NIW (national interest waiver) are the two strongest green card routes for artists. Many of our clients transition seamlessly from O-1 to EB-1 — we plan this from day one.

Common questions

Answers for every stage of the journey.

Can I move from an O-1 to a green card?+

Yes. Many artists begin on an O-1 and transition to an EB-1 once their record of recognition continues to grow. Abachi Law plans this transition from the start.

How long can I stay, and how do extensions work?+

An O-1 is initially granted for up to three years, with extensions in one-year increments. P visas follow event/tour-based timelines. Abachi Law manages renewals and compliance.

Can my family come with me (O-3)?+

Yes. Spouses and unmarried children under 21 qualify for O-3 status while you hold an O-1.

Do I need a U.S. employer or agent?+

O-1 petitions require a U.S. employer or agent. For self-employed artists, the firm uses an agent-based structure.

Can I apply from outside the U.S.?+

Yes. Petitions are filed with USCIS regardless of your location, then completed at a U.S. consulate abroad.

Is artistimmigration.com a law firm?+

No — it's an informational resource operated for Abachi Law LLC, where your case is actually handled.

Wherever you are in the journey, the next step is clear.
